Bio:
Roberta Faceplant is a honky tonk hurricane from Philadelphia. Safely in the middle of a Venn diagram where kitsch meets bitch, the five-piece Outlaw Americana band has been called “a cowpunk miracle” and “a country rock riot.”
Raucous guitars, a driving rhythm section, and the raw, powerful vocals of frontwoman Katie Feeney make Roberta Faceplant a five-fingered fist of authentic Country grit. In the spirit of outlaw icons like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, Roberta Faceplant leans away from the mainstream and towards animated and honest songwriting with a widened rock n’ roll sonic palette. No filter, no hesitation. This is Americana music at its roots: at odds with the law and looking for a good time.
Over the past year, the band has performed for packed rooms at venues like Johnny Brenda’s (Philadelphia), Skinny Dennis (NYC), and Club Cafe (Pittsburgh), and for thousands at festivals like Philadelphia Folk Festival, Wayne Music Festival, and 8 Great Tuesdays (Erie, PA). They’ve opened for artists like Low Cut Connie, Emily Nenni, Dylan Earl, Hannah Juanita, Olivia Ellen Lloyd, Rebecca Porter, and more. The band was awarded “Best Band” and “Best Lead Singer” by Delaware Public Media in 2025; won “Best EP” in 2026; and consecutive “Best Country Song” awards in 2025 and 2026. Their last two EPs received radio play on stations like KOOP 91.7 FM in Texas; NOLA County Radio in New Orleans; and WXPN 88.5 in Philadelphia.
Roberta Faceplant released their second EP Brisket & Cigarettes in 2025, and is currently working on their first full length album Lake Erie Speedway due in Spring 2027.
