REVIEW: Featured on B-sides & Badlands

“She’ll be a household name soon enough.”

More press!

My single “Everything is Trash” was recently reviewed on B-sides & Badlands! Have a look at the kind words:

I don’t think many would contest everything really is trash these days. With her debut single, appropriately called “Everything is Trash,” Roberta Faceplant (real name Katie Feeney, of “funk rock party” You Do You) doesn’t mince her words about “death and destruction.” In fact, she takes out the trash with sharp, quirky lyrics that seem to puncture our collective anxieties in the same stretch. “I don’t see how things could turn out for the best / It’s even worse than we could have guessed,” she sings, her twang hanging thick like grapes on a vine. It’s a honky-tonk bartop twister, and one that showcases great promise. She’ll be a household name soon enough.
